The OMA Section on General and Family Practice

SGFP logoIn November 2006, CallerMD signed an agreement with the Ontario Medical Association's Section on General and Family Practice (SGFP). The SGFP represents all general practitioners and family physicians in Ontario - that's nearly 50% of all Ontario doctors. The SGFP's official mission is to be "the authoritative voice dedicated to enhancing the value and well being of its members and the provision of excellence in health care for patients."

The SGFP Executive, led by their Chairman, Dr. John Ludwig, recognized the tremendous value that CallerMD could bring to family doctors across Ontario. In a letter to all Ontario GPs and FPs, Dr. Ludwig writes, "CallerMD provides a very valuable service to busy family physicians, and assists in receiving proper and timely payment for uninsured work rendered. I urge each and every family physician to seriously consider this excellent service provider."

Members of the SGFP can receive a full rebate on their membership dues simply by requesting a 5-10 minute meeting with a CallerMD representative. If you become a client of CallerMD, CallerMD will continue to pay your annual SGFP membership dues on your behalf for as long as you use our service.

The Coalition of Family Physicians of Ontario

COFP logoIn the summer of 2005, CallerMD partnered with the Coalition of Family Physicians (COFP) - an organization representing the financial interests of hundreds of Ontario physicians. The COFP formed a Medical Advisory Board for CallerMD to ensure that user-friendly, revenue-generating system enhancements will continue to be made in the years ahead.

The President of the COFP, Dr. Douglas Mark, was the first COFP member to use CallerMD. He was so pleased with the results - both the income he earned as well as the simplicity of the system - that now nearly every member of the COFP Board of Directors is using CallerMD, and they have enthusiastically recommended it to their entire membership.

In a letter to every family physician in Ontario, Dr. Mark writes, "I have found that this established, reputable company has done its homework on family doctors, and I truly believe that they can bring all of us substantial income for work that we already do or wish to do for our patients - in fact, a typical CallerMD client is earning over $18,000 per year in additional income, without any headaches or administrative work. I personally use CallerMD in my office, as do nearly all the other directors of the COFP, and we've all had excellent experiences. For all of our years of hard work, this is something that we all deserve."

Already, more than one-third of all COFP members are clients of CallerMD. In 2006, CallerMD generated over $4 million of additional revenue for these physicians.

Members of the COFP can receive a $50 rebate on their membership dues simply by requesting a 5-10 minute meeting with a CallerMD representative, as well as receive discounts off of CallerMD's regular billing rates.

OMA Section on Pediatrics

Pediatricts OMA logoThe Section on Pediatrics is dedicated to lobbying for the well being of Ontario's children, and for the interests of pediatricians both within and outside of the OMA. In a letter to over 1,000 Ontario pediatricians, Section Chair Dr. Hirotaka Yamashiro wrote, "The Executive of the OMA Section on Pediatrics believes that physicians deserve fair compensation for all the medical services they provide. This includes time spent on uninsured services like telephone advice, prescription renewals, forms and missed appointments - which can account for up to 30% of your time. We believe that all community pediatricians would benefit from the CallerMD service and the Executive of the Section on Pediatrics encourages you to take time for a short meeting with CallerMD to learn more about their service. Pediatricians already using the service say that it has been very positively received."

Hamilton Academy of Medicine

HAM logoThe Hamilton Academy of Medicine is a voluntary association funded by physicians for physicians. The Academy informs, educates and represents more than 700 physicians in Hamilton acting as the District 4 branch society of the Ontario Medical Association. In a letter to all Academy members, the Academy’s President Dr. Scott Wooder wrote, “After a diligent selection process we determined that CallerMD offers the strongest combination of value and service. We believe that all of our members will benefit tremendously and are encouraging them to meet with Healthscreen to discuss the opportunities available. A number of us on the executive committee are already up and running and the results have been excellent.”
