Located in downtown Toronto, Healthscreen serves thousands of physicians and handles more than $1.5 billion in healthcare transactions a year.  ReminderMD, a new program Healthscreen will be launching soon, assists patients in managing their long term healthcare more effectively.  For a nominal monthly fee, the ReminderMD service assists patients schedule and track essential appointments like annual check-ups, breast cancer screening test, cervical cancer screening tests, colorectal cancer screening tests, flu shots, immunizations, etc.   

Position Overview 

Currently thousands of Ontario physicians are using Healthscreen services, with hundreds more requesting meetings with our sales professionals every month.  To support this very high demand for our services, we are expanding our operations and require Patient Relations Representatives. Responsibilities include:

  • Using your positive friendly manner, warm call existing clients to offer service
  • Provide high level of customer service while handling customer/patient inquiries over the phone
  • Assist patients in managing their long term healthcare needs
  • Administrative data entry on an ongoing basis

 Competency Requirements

  • Friendly, professional attitude a must with previous customer service experience an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a pleasant and engaging telephone manner
  • Good computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer
  • Mature, with strong interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse client base
  • Ability to meet deadlines, while multitasking and working in a team environment
  • Must be uncommonly attentive to detail
  • Comfortable discussing sensitive healthcare topics with patients
  • Post Secondary Diploma/degree an asset

 Hours/Compensation:

  • Compensation package includes competitive wages in line with a candidates' work experience, performance bonuses, stock options and a comprehensive health benefits program
  • Various positions, 10am-7pm but flexible to work overtime during peak periods, some evening and weekend shifts will become available soon.
  • Building is directly accessible via subway in downtown Toronto
