What
does Healthscreen do?
Healthscreen provides
services and software to physicians to help you deliver enhanced levels of
healthcare to your patients.
Specifically, we can help you manage preventive care, uninsured medical
services such as telephone advice and prescriptions, more comprehensive chronic
disease management, and electronic medical records and billing.
I
thought Healthscreen was an EMR company.
We began as an EMR company,
and will remain committed to developing the best and easiest to use software
for billing, scheduling and electronic records.
By listening to our customers, we learned that in addition to software,
physicians and their staff need help with the administration of all the care
now expected by patients.
What
can I expect if I become a Healthscreen customer?
A lot. If you subscribe to our PrevCareMD service
and work in Ontario,
we will help you achieve excellent levels for preventive care for your patients
and attain the bonuses available.
CallerMD is a service that provides administrative support for uninsured
medical services, including telephone prescriptions and advice, sick notes, and
forms. We look after the administrative
work and allow you to provide these uninsured services to enhance your
practice's level of service and earn additional income. Our latest service, HealthAlert, helps
families remember to get the care you want them to have, like immunizations,
bone densities and cholesterol levels, by reminding them when the procedures are
necessary. And we have more services
planned to help you manage medication lists and compliance. All these services are aimed at enhancing
your practice and helping you deliver ever higher levels of care to your
patients.
I'm
concerned about the privacy of my patient information.
So are we. Every aspect of our operations is regularly
checked to ensure that best privacy practices are used. We recently requested that Ontario's Information and Privacy Commission
perform an informal review of our practices, and were advised that we had
‘strong safeguards' in place. No organization takes privacy more seriously than Healthscreen. We regularly review our practices and our Privacy Policy is available here.
Healthscreen
is a public company. What does that
mean?
Being a public company
offers a high degree of confidence to you that private companies can't. Our financial results are made public several
times a year and are subject to stringent audits and checks. If believe in us and our services, you might
even want to consider investing in Healthscreen through the TSX stock
exchange. Our trading symbol is MDU.
Where
is Healthscreen located?
Healthscreen's head office
is located in downtown Toronto. Much of
our support is provided by our regional offices in Ottawa
and St Catharines, and we now have a team in Calgary to support our Alberta clients.
